I’m a classically trained artist. Studying art in Russia gave me a robust set of skills that enables me to create on my own terms, yet to know and admire Old Masters and modern artists.  For a while I was looking for the meaning of my life and my art creations, until I became a Christian. I realized that art is an important way to understand God and His work. Through my paintings I try to bring God's glories into sharper focus for myself and people around me.

Like for many generations of artists before me, my goal is to express and to re-establish Christian worldview and bring it back into modern visual arts. Scripture treats the arts as a divine calling. There was an Old Testament artist named Bezalel who was chosen by God "to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze" Exod. 31:3.
