Larry Gay - Sculptor
Larry Gay is a nationally known sculptor who shows his bronze work at Two Rivers Gallery. The three pieces he is now exhibiting at the gallery are cowboy characters from the movie Tombstone. They were gone for a few days while Larry had a photo op with the actors in Tombstone AZ.
Larry Gay has been written up in the famous Tombstone Epitaph National Edition. He said it was the first time the 130 year old paper has ever run a full color back page ad. Larry’s work is helping to bring the city of Tombstone back to relevancy. His bronze of Doc Holiday (above right) hides the pistol he has behind his back. Larry became one of the few living artists to have his work accepted into the permanent collection of the C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana. Larry has done many bronze pieces over the years. The elk has been on exhibit at Two Rivers Gallery, along with his eagles (below).
