Brad Brisine - Architect, Painter
Brad Brisbine is a local architect who designed the Pybus Public Market, as well as the NCR Library Annex on Columbia Street and Lifeline Ambulance Service, among many other projects.
Brad has been our featured artist three times over the last 11 years. He was in charge of our gallery’s 'plein air' contests and has won several artistic awards including featured artist for Washington State Apple Blossom Festival and Festival of trees in 2008. Some of those prints can still be found at McDee’s Art Center.
Much of Brad’s work are plein air oil paintings inspired by his frequent Cascade Mountain backpacking trips. Brad gives much credit to the inspiration he received from mentors William F. Reese and Rod Weagant. Brad paints to express his love of nature using impressionistic color strokes interpreting interesting lighting effects.
